Enigma2 Receivers

Enigma2 Receivers

Enigma2 boxes — Dreambox, Vu+ and their relatives — are the satellite world’s set-top computers, and XUI.live treats them as first-class subscribers: a MAC-bound device, a paired line underneath, and ready-made playlist formats the receiver installs itself.

Open Enigma Devices → Add Device.

The device

The MAC address identifies the receiver; a paired line carries the subscription — owner, expiry or never-expire, trial flag, bouquets, exactly as for any line. Lock device pins the credentials to this box, and the familiar restrictions apply: allowed IPs, ISP lock with one-click clear, forced country, forced server.

The device reports itself as it connects — modem MAC, local IP, Enigma version, CPU model and Linux version all appear on the device screen, so support starts from facts rather than questions.

Getting the receiver playing

The playlist generator ships Enigma-specific formats, including auto-install scripts for OE 1.6 and OE 2.0 images and variants for the wider receiver family — GigaBlue, Octagon, Spark and others. The customer runs one script on the box; channels, names and numbering arrive without hand-editing bouquet files.

The fleet

The devices list mirrors the MAG screen: filter by owner, status and expiry; ban, disable and kill connections per row or in bulk; and convert to line when a customer trades the receiver for an app — the subscription survives the hardware.

Programmatic control is the same surface as everything else: create_enigma, edit_enigma and convert_enigma on the Admin API, with reseller-scoped equivalents on the Reseller API.
